In August 2026, the International Institute for Education and Research on Antisemitism (IIBSA) has published its new brochure “Künstliche Intelligenz und Digitalisierung gegen Antisemitismus: Chancen, Methoden, Werkzeuge, neue Bedrohungen” (Artificial Intelligence and Digitalization Against Antisemitism: Opportunities, Methods, Tools, and New Threats)
Antisemitismus verändert sich – und mit ihm die Werkzeuge, die zu seiner Analyse und Bekämpfung zur Verfügung stehen.
Antisemitism is changing—and with it, the tools available for analyzing and combating it.
Those who work in the field of combating antisemitism thus face a twofold challenge: understanding new technologies and using them responsibly.
This guide brings together practical knowledge from the IIBSA’s DigiLabs project, which brought together civil society actors, Jewish organizations, and experts from the fields of academia, law, and cybersecurity. It is specifically designed for beginners with no prior technical knowledge.
This publication is part of the project “DigiLabs: Digitalisierung und Künstliche Intelligenz gegen Antisemitismus” (DigiLabs: Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence against Antisemitism), which is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight Against Antisemitism.
