With the Moroccan Association Mimouna, IIBSA conducted a three-day seminar with social media influencers in Morocco. The seminar focused on the role of “Social Media in promoting pluralism without discrimination in Morocco”, different types of Hate Speech, antisemitism, the Holocaust and the history of Jewish life in Morocco.
The participants heard lectures from Andre Azoulay (Senior Advisor to King Mohammed VI and Honorary Advisor to Mimouna Association), Rabbi David Rosen (former chief Rabbi of Ireland, AJC), Mr. Ahmed Abbadi (Secretary general of the Mohamadia league of Ulama), El Mehdi Boudra (President Mimouna), Mina Abdelmalak (Egyptian expert at the US Holocaust Memorial Museum) and Kim Robin Stoller (IIBSA).
