On October 15, 2026, we held the second regional meeting in Berlin as part of our project “Nationwide Transfer: Regional Meetings on Preventing and Combating Antisemitism.”
Around 35 stakeholders from universities, government and public administration, Jewish organizations and communities, reporting, counseling, and prevention centers, and civil society came together.
Against the backdrop of current developments at the federal level and in Berlin, the discussion focused on the following topics:
- Combating antisemitism and coalition building after the elections
- Monitoring and addressing current issues
- Developments, needs, and coordination regarding antisemitism at universities
- Key areas of work as well as new and ongoing projects
We also discussed current challenges and possible courses of action. To conclude, we brought together the results and outlined the next steps.
We would like to thank all participants for the committed and constructive exchange and look forward to continuing our collaboration in the coming months.
The project is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Jewish Life in Germany and the Fight against Antisemitism.
