MENA-EURO ACADEMIC FORUM “Combating Antisemitism and Rebuilding Academic Bridges after October 7th” 

On 9 December we held our MENA-EURO ACADEMIC FORUM “Combating Antisemitism and Rebuilding Academic Bridges after October 7th” and discussed these topics: 

  • Impact of October 7th and its aftermath on academia and academic cooperation
  • Rise of Antisemitism and Islamism in the academic context after October 7th
  • Challenges to academic freedom in the context of the war in Israel and Gaza
  • Possibilities for MENA and EURO-MENA cooperation, including in the academy
