From 27 to 29 November 2026, the International Institute for Research and Education on Antisemitism (IIBSA) will hold a Strategy Conference “Understanding and Combating Antisemitism at Universities” in cooperation with Free Association of Study Unions (freier Zusammenschluss von student:innenschaften) (fzs), German Union of Jewish Students (Jüdischen Studierendenunion Deutschland) (JSUD) and the JuFo DIG.
The conference is aimed at those active against antisemitism at German universities and is intended to provide an opportunity to exchange ideas and critically reflect on successful and failed approaches to prevention and intervention. Current challenges, relevant stakeholders, and regional, national, and international developments will be analyzed in order to understand and effectively combat antisemitism at universities.
